모닝단어

1. stick out : 튀어나오게 하다, ~을 내밀다. (extend)
   Close your eyes and stick out your tongue.
    눈을 감고 혀를 내밀어 봐.
2. wash out : 씻어 내다 (clean)
    Don't cuss or Mom will wash out your mouth with soap!
    욕하지 마. 안 그러면 엄마가 네 입을 비누로 씻길 거야!
3. straighten out : 행실을 바르게 하다, 바로잡다 (stop wrong behavior)
    Straighten out and fly right or else.
    마음을 바로잡고 행실을 고쳐서 착실해지거나 해봐.

영어 단어 풀이

1. stick out
Uhm.. to stick out means to extend something like reach.
You might stick out your hand or stick out your tongue
or stick out a pencil to reach away from you.

2. wash out
Ah, yeah, wash. To wash out means to cleasn the inside of something
to remove the dirty part from the inside.

3. straighten out
Uhm.. well straightem as a verb means to make a straight.
To straighten out means to actually solve a problem.
We might imagine that a problem is not straight.
A problem is crooked and has many angles.
Just like iron out, straighten out means to make everything perfectly in order.

You know, Jake, 길동 is very concerned about the environment.
He's trying to be conservative and save things as well.
He decided to save dish soap. That's right.
Now he washes his dishes with the help of my dog Domino. That's right.
He says "Domino, stick out your tongue." and then he uses Domino
to wash out the cups and plates and bowls. Oh yeah, but Domino does a good job.
I told 길동 "Please straighten out. Nobody's gonna eat at your house again
if you do that." Domino's happy and 길동's happy. So whatever.
