■ 단어복습 ■

pin down : ~을 정확히 밝히다,이해하다(identify, find)

quite down : 소음을 줄이다, 조용해지다(lower the volume of noise)

climb down : 내려가다(descend)

 

■ 모닝단어 ■

step 1

slow down : 침착해지다, 느긋해지다(be less aggressive)

blow down : ~을 불어 떨어뜨리다, 넘어뜨리다(break of cause to fall by wind)

hand down : ~을 물려주다(pass, donate, give)

 

step 2

<Oh, we had a domestic problem at the apartment the other day. 길동 was very upset.
He said,"I wanna buy a new suit, I want a new blue jeans. I need to buy 5 new shirts, I need all new clothes." I told him,"Hey, 길동! slow down! man. We don't have a lot of money.
It's ok to wear clothes that you get from your older brother, even from your father.
It's ok to hand down clothes in good condition, good quality, they look good. Don't worry about it." He was so upset, huffing and puffing,
I thought he was gonna blow the door down but it took a little while he calm down.
Now he is ok about it. He learned to be happy, be humble.>
