To succeed is to do well. To get by is to not fail but you're not
succeeding very much. You're surviving. So how do you do this?
Get by with friends, get by with family, get by with money,
get by with energy. By some method you're just barely surviving.
2. play with
Well, to play with, of course, is to spend time together with someone
or doing something in a fun way. But also to play with means to
sometimes manipulate or use, for example to play with your computer
or play with the controls on the radio, play with your cellphone.
Just using it basically.
3. reward with
Ah, to reward with, well of course, I think we all enjoy receiving
some sort of reward. I know my dogs receive little sausages.
