1. bring down : ~을 우울하게 만들다
   to depress somebody; to make somebody unhappy 
   Spending New Year alone brought me right down.
   새해를 혼자 보내는 것은 나를 우울하게 만들어.
   
2. put down : ~을 바보로 만들다, 깎아내리다
   to criticize someone, especially when other people are present,
   in a way that makes them feel stupid.
   He's always trying to put me down. 그는 항상 나를 바보로 만들려고 해.

3. break down : ~을 나누다, 분류하다, 분해하다
   to divide something such as a total amount into separate parts
   The amount doesn't seem quite so bad when you break it down into
   monthly payments.

단어풀이

1. bring down
Let's think of the word 'down' as being not good, depressed, sad, no energy,
just bad condition. To bring down, then, is to put other people in that
low sad condition.
▶ down이라는 단어를 좋지 않은 상태, 우울하고, 슬프고, 힘이 없고,
   컨디션이 좋지 않은 것이라고 생각해 보자. bring down은 다른 사람들을
   우울하게 만드는 것이다.
  
2. put down
Yeah right, to put down. Well again, down is used as a negative situation here.
To put down is to criticize, to ridicule, to say that someone is bad and negative,
say bad things about people.
▶ 그렇다 put down. 다시 down은 여기서 부정적인 상황에서 사용된다.
    put down은 비판하고 비웃고 다른사람이 나쁘고 부정적이라고 말하고
    다른사람들에 대해 나쁜 것을 말하는 것이다.
  
3. break down
Well, to break down is to reduce. How? Into many different pieces to divide up
or to put into sections.
▶ break down은 줄이는 것이다. 어떻게? 나누거나 구분을 하기 위해 많은 다른
    조각들로 나누는 것이다.
