Yeah, that's right. Now one of the most well-known examples of popular audience participation is the motion picture, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

맞아. 인기 있는 관객 참여의 가장 잘 알려진 예는 록키 호러 픽쳐 쇼이다. 

The audience, they make call backs and they yell and throw props during certain parts of the show. They get up and dance and sing. I'll participate in.  

관객들은 공연 중간 중간 소리를 지르고, 소품도 던진다. 그들은 일어나서 춤추고 노래한다. 참여해야겠어. 

They're shouting out "GMP, GMP, GMP!" 

"GMP, GMP, GMP"를 외치지요. 

This show, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is shown every year here in Korea as well. Yes, it's pretty good.

이 쇼, 록키 호러 픽쳐 쇼는 대한민국에서도 매년 공연된다. 아주 좋아.

This was the top secret. He decided he wanna to put on a show. So, he tried to learn some music. He got a keyboard, synthesizer. He's practicing some alternative music.

And he thought "Man, I'm really awesome! I'm so good. I should put on a live show."

So, he rented a small theater. The audience showed up expecting a big show. And oh my goodness. It was quite embarrassing.

The music was very awkward. He only practiced for three hours before the show. So, he really didn't really play that well.

You know, a lot of people don't realize this. But many, many years ago when Barak Obama was growing up in Indonesia, one of his best friends was actually from Korea, Hong Kil-Dong.

They were best friends. They grew up together. And when they were growing up, they had dreams of what would they do in the future.

A man actually was taking photographs with his camera of several cruisers that were illegally parked. And one of the police cars took up two handicap parking spaces.

한 사람이 불법 주차된 차들을 자신의 카메라로 찍고 있었다. 경찰차가 장애인 주차 구역을 차지하고 있었다.   

Now while the man was taking pictures, a police officer placed the man against the wall, and resulted in a lawsuit.

그 남자는 사진을 찍고 있는데, 경찰이 그를 벽에 서게 했다. 결국 소송하게 되었다.       

"Hands up! Drop the camera!" 

"손들어! 카메라 내려놔!" 

It's very important that the police are held to the law as well. They are not above the law. I'll just recommend "Don't really confront them."      

경찰이 역시 법을 지켜야 하는 것은 중요하다. 법위에 있으면 안 된다. 나는 그냥 이렇게 조언할래. "그들과 대결하지 마."

Here in the special city of Seoul, South Korea is a place called Namsan, South Mountain and through Namsan there are many tunnels.

특별한 도시인 대한민국 서울에는 남산이라 불리는 곳이 있다. 남산을 통과하는 많은 터널이 있다.   

You know, the other day, Jake, I was driving my car, I passed through one of the Namsan tunnels. 

제이크, 요전 날에 나는 운전하고 있었어. 남산의 터널 중에 한 곳을 지났지.  

And when I got to the other side, I stopped my car. I stopped my car because there was a sign on the side of the road. It was marked. It said "Rest Area"

I was feeling tired. So I parked my car. I stopped and parked on the side of the road. And I got out and I locked the door, I lay down the ground.

There's a guy, his name is Dr. Kenneth Cooper in the United States. He began measuring human performance using a bicycle ergometer, and he began measuring sustained performance in terms of a person's ability to use oxygen.

미국에 케네스 쿠퍼 박사라는 사람이 있다. 그는 자전거 측정 장치를 사용해서 인간공학을 측정하기 시작했고, 그는 산소를 사용하는 사람의 능력의 관점에서 지속 능력을 측정하기 시작했다.

I heard of a funny story about the... Long time ago 이근철 and Hong Kil-Dong together decided they were going to come up with a new exercise program using aerobics.

재미있는 이야기를 들었어. 오래전에 이근철과 홍길동은 함께 에어로빅을 사용한 운동 프로그램을 내놓기로 했어.  

Now, to advertise this they of course had to take some pictures. They decided to go around Seoul Korea, in front of famous landmarks to take some pictures. 

이것을 광고하기 위해서 그들은 사진을 찍어야 했어. 그들은 서울을 돌아다니며 유명한 이정표들을 찍기로 했어. 

Well, wouldn't you know it? While they were exercising, doing their aerobics, taking the pictures, it was raining. That's right. They got drops of water all over the lens of camera.

모르겠어? 그들은 연습하고, 그들의 에어로빅을 하면서, 사진을 찍는 동안 비가 내렸어. 맞아. 카메라 렌즈에 물방울이 묻었어.  

So when they had proofs check so that they could choose their pictures, oh my goodness, the pictures were terrible. Drops of water  everywhere. 

그래서 그들이 사진을 고르기 위한 사진 샘플을 확인했을 때, 세상에 사진은 끔찍했어. 사방에 물방울들이. 

The critics were very, very bad. They gave up the whole project. Now, Hong Kil-Dong's out of shape. But Jake did gain anyway. That's all right.
