Polar bears feed on penguins? 북극곰이 펭귄을 먹는다고?

Well, some do, there're very rich polar bears, they import! penguins.

어떤 것들은 그런다, 아주 부자 북극곰들은 펭귄을 수입한다.  

And the reason why is because, well OK, in the United Kingdom a few years ago there was a science text book being used in the school system that claimed polar bears eat penguins.

왜냐하면 영국에서 몇 년 전에 한 과학 교과서에서 북극곰이 펭귄을 먹는다고 주장했기 때문이다. 

That's problem. Because polar bears live in the northern hemisphere upon the north pole and penguins live way down south, they live on the south pole, also off the coast of South Africa.

Well, after eating I checked my pocket and I realized big problem. On account of having no money I had to ask for the manager on duty.

Yeah, Bo On The Go, this is a show that encourages children to move around and learn new movement skills by linking their activity to a plot-driven story. 

"Bo On The Go" 는 줄거리에 따라 몸의 움직임이 연결되어, 어린이들이 움직이면서 새로운 동작을 배우도록 하는 프로그램이다.

Oh, Jake, these days I'm feeling a little under the weather. I've been on the go for a while, so my energy is low.

My doctor gave me some medicine. He told me, "John, every hour on the hour you've got to take this medicine, it's good for your health."

의사가 약을 좀 줬어. 그는 말했지. "존, 매시 정각에 이 약을 드세요. 건강에 좋아요."  

So, at exactly 1 o'clock on the dot, 2 o'clock on the dot, 3 o'clock on the dot, I have to take this medicine. I hope it helps me. I'm feeling lower energy.

그래서 1시, 2시, 3시 정확한 시간에 이 약을 먹어야 해. 약이 효과 있길. 힘이 좀 없어.

DOA = Dead on arrival 환자가 병원에 도착할 당시 이미 사망했다.

Yeah, as you mentioned this is a term originally coming from emergency, probably hospital problem, somebody is injured.  

말했듯이 이 단어는 원래 부상을 당한 경우, 병원에서와 같은 응급상황에서 유래했다.  

But DOA, Dead on arrival is also used as kind of an expression! to indicate that a new item has arrived broken or some idea has no chance of making it.

"DOA, Dead on arrival" 은 또한 새로운 제품이 부서진 채로 배달된 경우나  실현 가능성이 없는 아이디어를 말할 때 쓸 수 있다.

Hey, the other night I was watching television and I saw something on a home shopping program.

요전 날 밤에 나는 텔레비전을 보았고, 홈쇼핑 프로그램에서 어떤 제품을 봤다. 

I thought "Oh, I would love to have that." So I made a phone call and I was very surprised. The next day the item was delivered. 

"저걸 갖고 싶어" 라고 생각했고, 전화를 했다. 나는 정말 놀랐다. 다음날 그 제품은 도착을 했다. 

On arrival at my door the deliveryman "Knock, knock, knock. Hello, Mr. Valentine! Your package has arrived."

상품 배달원이 집에 도착했을 때. "똑, 똑, 똑. 안녕하세요, 밸런타인 씨! 소포가 도착했습니다." 

Oh, I was so happy. I couldn't believe such a fast delivery. On delivery I noticed that the box had already been open.

난 정말 좋았어. 그렇게 빨리 도착했다는 게 믿기지 않았어. 배달 됐을 때 그 상자가 이미 열려 있었다는 것을 알았어.  

Yeah, the deliveryman. I ordered some fruit, I ordered some pineapples, on delivery the box was open and the deliveryman had a backpack.

과일을 좀 주문했어. 파인애플을 주문했지. 배달됐을 때 상자는 열려 있었고, 상품 배달원은 배낭이 있었지. 

In the backpack I noticed there're two pineapples. So I said to the deliveryman, "Hey, are those my pineapples?"

그 배낭에 파인애플 두개가 있다는 걸 알았어. 그래서 말했지. "내 파인애플 아닌가요?" 

He said, "Ah, yes, sir. I'll give them to you on demand." So, "Give me my pineapples!" So he did.

그는 말했어. "네, 선생님. 요청하시면 드리겠습니다." 그래서 "내 파인애플 주세요." 그래서 그는 그렇게 했어.

You know, Jake. These days I've been trying to study several foreign languages by listening to radio and watching television programs.

Some of these programs come on very late at night and when I'm watching them, I hate to say this, but they bring on my sleepiness, make me kind of tired.
